Chilidogs, Exes, & the Infobot
I am three peach beers deep into tolerating the woman shouting her fitness routine at the side of my face. My night has shifted between three gears: wedging my wit into conversations to gain even thinly backhanded approval that I’m not the girl before me, bracing against the chatty fitness Repilcant, and sitting awkwardly frozen in a camping chair contemplating every detail of what the next ten years or so of my life will be like.
I can’t decide which makes my tendons strain harder.
In & Out: Casing the Lemp Mansion

Photo courtesy Lemp Mansion Facebook page 2018
It is the 30th of November, 2016. The Lemp Mansion strikes my interest as a local oddity. I notify my significant other and plans are made to arrange a date at the allegedly haunted house, now serving as an inn with a dinner theater and updated plumbing.
Allegedly updated.

Cornelia Gillman
Cosplay photography is always done best not on the convention floor (which, sadly, is often red carpet and gives the most unflattering light). The extra mile given by Cornelia Gillman is fantastic, putting characters in their "natural habitat" and making them all the more real.
Lithium Picnic
I worked with Phillip Warner, aka "Lithium Picnic" years ago when I was still trying to legitimize myself as a real model (at 5'3" this was obviously in the bag). It was 3 a.m. ten years ago, after several hours of drinking screwdrivers and eating vegetarian pizza out of the box, but I remember him working with the lights for longer than I was in front of the camera.
His photos have a consistancy and instantly identifiable signature, almost entirely attributed to his lighting style. When I thought of what I would like my photos to look like, his work always came to mind, and I'm lucky I got the chance to work with him in my lifetime.
